Spanish is quickly becoming a prominent language in the US in fact, its estimated that there are now more than  54 million Spanish language speakers throughout the country, accounting  for almost 20% of the entire US population! These stats alone are a compelling reason to learn Spanish as a second language. But its also interesting to look at how the language has grown over the years.
